Introduce semester current events assignment
Assignment details: students will keep a notebook and will add one New Mexico current event for each day of class (meaning four current events per week). They may pull from local new stations, the Albuquerque Journal and the Gallup independent. Format as follows:
Date of the article/broadcast
Title
1/3 to ½ page summary of the event.
These will be checked at any given time, so keep up with current events every day.
